Hi,
     in the 8 or so days i havent posted ive been busy in the garden and reading (view from the shed - by michael wale) in the garden ive moved the blue bucket out of the ground and emptied it and found that there was 6 commen newts in there and 1 dead one. i'm going to gently add them to my pond which is being built on friday, saturday,sunday, Monday and if it isn't finished then we'll finish it on the weekends following. i will then add plants. However the biggest news is we've got frog spawn ( +frogs obviously ). first  it rained the next day the frogs came and produced frog spawn. when i add the newts ill add frog spawn and frogs. finally i have got about 30 mediam sized pots all over the garden with wild flowers (meadow floweres) i also love wildlife so the pond and flowers are a good addition to that .

on the 12 February i said that i was going to take my ponds away but we have finally set a month that we will build it - April.

today i found a hole of what looked like a rodents house (my mum doesnt like rodents eg mice rats ext) it had a half chewed conker with teeth marks in it so i removed the conker and poured a large bucket of water down it then dug it over
